Mr. Sevantilal J Parekh has over five decades of business experience having handled diverse businesses including investment and financial services. A commerce graduate, he is Chairman of United Shippers Limited, a company which is into barging and cargo handling business over the last 40 years. The company owns and operates the largest fleet of barges in India and has operations in the Middle East as well. He has functional expertise in the fields of shipping, logistics, construction as well as mining.

Mr. Vijay Kantilal Sheth, after graduating in commerce from University of Bombay, underwent extensive training with Brovigs Viking Shipping Co. A.S., Fearnley & Egers Chartering Co. Ltd. and American Express International Banking Corporation, London, before joining The Great Eastern Shipping Company Ltd. in February 1977. He then pursued a degree in Business Management at the Harvard-affiliated Asian Institute of Management in Manila.

Vijay has been intimately associated with the Indian Oil & Gas Industry since 1981 when this company was then just conceived as the offshore division of The Great Eastern Shipping Company Ltd. He has made significant contributions to the indigenisation of the oil field services sector and has been extremely active in the development of Indian Government Policies for this sector.

Mr. Shailesh V Haribhakti is a practising Chartered Accountant. He is Chairman & Managing Partner of the Haribhakti Group which is a multi-dimensional professional group with a business practice spread over several spheres and across sectors, specializing in governance issues, risk management and standards setting.

Mr. Haribhakti is the Chairman of Financial Planning Standards Board (FPSB), the Indian affiliate of the Certified Financial Planning Board of Standards (CFP Board). He is the only Indian member of the reconstituted Standards Advisory Council (SAC) of the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB).

He holds positions as professional independent director on the boards of various public and private companies, and is represented as Chairman or Member of Audit committee on most of them. Additionally he is a committee member of National Stock Exchange of India, member of advisory board of FIMMDA and a member of Takeover panel of SEBI. He serves as a member of the managing committee of ASSOCHAM as well as the Corporate Governance Committee of CII.

He was past Chairman of WIRC of ICAI, President of BMA and President of IIA, Bombay Chapter and has been associated as a visiting faculty at IIM Ahmedabad.

Mr. Rajiv K. Luthra is an Attorney-at-Law and is the Founder and Managing Partner of Luthra & Luthra Law Offices, one of the eminent law firms in India. He is a member of various bar associations. He has been appointed by the Government of India on the Advisory Board of the Competition Commission of India. He has successfully handled various disinvestment, privatization and restructuring assignments and worked on some prominent M&A deals for corporates in India.

Mr. Suresh Balasubramaniam is a Chartered Accountant and has been associated with the financial services sector over the past 19 years. He is a well-versed and experienced banker, and a financial-services professional.

Mr. Madhava Menon Shankar Narayanan is Managing Director of Carlyle India Advisors Pvt. Ltd. He was earlier at Hathway Investments as Managing Director & CEO for six years. He has worked as Director for South Asia and India in Duetsche Bank Capital Partners based in Hong Kong. He has been associated with numerous private equity investments in India including Johnson Tiles, Exide Industries, Hathway Cable, Asianet Satellite Communications, Pushpa Polymers, Tata Infomedia and AFL Limited.

Mr. Madhava Menon Shankar Narayanan has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Civil Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi. He did his post graduation diploma in Management from XLRI Jamshedpur where he was Gold Medalist and stood first in the area of Finance and Accounting.
